Membership and Association Management SystemsIf you are looking to implement a new or replacement MMS, AMS or CRM system for your association, charity or club, you are probably aware of the latest web-based systems that work on phones and tablets as well as desktop screens, and use a monthly or annual subscription model. They can be very cost-effective, providing full member management, integrated web content management, emailing, e-shop and event registration for less than 80p per member per year - less than the cost of one postal mailing. Although carefully designed to be easy to use, these services can often seem a little remote, with no one on the ground to help you evaluate the potential fit to your requirements - especially if you are in the UK or Europe. An important factor for this type of software is the difference between a fund-raising charity and an association or club - see here. Security and privacy can also be an issue - see here. We can help you by talking through your needs, and demonstrating the capabilities of Wild Apricot. We would load some of your data into the trial system so that it's much easier to see how it would work for your team. We can then follow up with initial set up, data migration and user training. If website work is involved, we can help match up standard themes or work with your existing style-sheets. Longer term we can provide flexible support on a retainer basis to help with specific issues, or to deploy new features. A web-based system will have no upfront license cost and will be continuously upgraded. The monthly or annual service rental can be cheaper than the 20+% ongoing support cost of a conventional on-premise system, without the initial capital cost. It will also, of course, be available to your staff, volunteers, trustees and field workers wherever and whenever they have internet access. No more sharing of spreadsheets! |
